Orthodontic AssistantTurpin Orthodontics is looking for an Orthodontic Assistant to join our established locations in Monroe, West Monroe, and Ruston, Louisiana! If this sounds like you and you meet our qualifications below, we want to hear from you!Schedule:Full-timeMonday - Thursday from 7:45 AM - 5:15 PMFridays from 7:45 AM - 12:00 PMBenefits:Competitive compensation packageMedical, dental, vision, and life insurancePTO and paid holidays401(k) optionsMonday through Friday work scheduleQualifications:6+ months of orthodontic assisting experience is preferredMust be willing to travel to our Monroe, West Monroe, and Ruston locations on a weekly basisJob Duties:Duties include, but are not limited to the following:Taking extraoral and intraoral photographsTaking dental impressionsSterilization and packaging of orthodontic instrumentsDisinfecting equipment and operatoriesMaintaining inventory control of all lab equipment, supplies, instruments, and consumablesPreparing clinicians' chair-side set-upsTying and untying patientsApplying orthodontic appliances under the supervision of the orthodontistPouring modelsFabricating retainersCleaning the lab and operatories, sweeping/mopping as neededCleaning common areas and removing the trashProviding oral hygiene and home care instructions to patients and family membersAnd adherence to all OSHA and HIPAA regulations
