The base hourly rate for this position is $21.63

Pay Range $21.63-$23.10

This is a production position working in the critical role of mixing the batch formula following the ISO specific system to supply batch slurry to the mold line. The Batch Maker I will work under close supervision of experienced Batch Maker/Lead/Supervisor while performing the essential duties and responsibilities. The job requires that the employee be able to work safely and follow safety rules.

  • Excellent attendance, attitude, and motivation
  • Safely operate batch making equipment
  • Operate controls to bring line into Lime Metering Tank
  • Operate controls to bring DE into weight hopper
  • Operate controls to bring in Portland cement into weight hopper
  • Add water to Metering Tank
  • Add wet-recycle into Metering Tank
  • Weigh pulp and add to Batch Mix Tank
  • Transfer batch slurry into Circulation Holding Tank
  • Record required information on batch sheets
  • Inspect and verify scales and record results
  • Operate forklift
